We would love to be back dancing, however, the new variant is upon us and the number of people being infected is on the rise again. Even though we believe most if not all of the dancers are fully vaccinated (including the booster shot), we are still able to spread the virus. Also, many of us have family members or friends whose immune system is not up to par and therefore, we are taking the necessary precautions to keep them safe by wearing masks in public and social distancing. If the number of Covid hospital cases remains at 300 or less for at least two weeks, we will plan on resuming round dancing. We feel the opportunity of spreading the virus under those conditions will be very rare. Hopefully, AHS will keep us informed via the local news channels. When we resume dancing, wearing masks will be optional and since when we are dancing, we will be moving through the same air space as other dancers, social distancing is not practical. We are looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor in the not too distant future.
