Birgit was asked to lead a session at the Fort Saskatchewan Library called Discover Clogging. February is Physical Literacy Month and the library hosted different sessions showcasing how to get exercise in various ways. The session started with 3 demos to show the 9 participants what clogging is and the variety of music we dance to. Then the participants took part in a session where they learned some basic clogging steps. Everyone enjoyed it a lot!
For a number of years now our club has a week where everyone wears nice bright tops to brighten dark January. It perks everyone up and we sure are bright!!! Tuesday January 27Thursday January 29We were thrilled to have Kellee Ramirez be the featured instructor at our 27 Annual CLOG-toberfest. A big THANKS! to her and Barb Guenette and Adele Brewer for also teaching. Cloggers came from all over Western Canada to learn some wonderful dances and have lots of fun! Thanks to all for coming!
Our first 2 weeks of classes are review and dance as well as Open House. Cloggers are encouraged to bring a friend or two that might like to see and try clogging
